I like most people thought that what I have belongs to me! When I looked at them I knew they belonged to the past and were made for the future. And it was my responsiblity to pass them on as they had done. I asked myself if these people I have pictures of if they would share them if they were asked and I know for sure they would. Even though pictures and such were not so plentyful or so easy to share they seemed to share so willingly. I know now they knew what so few now days don't, shareing and careing is what has kept this family for the future. It was hard to realize the treasures I have. Even though they are few, I now know they are my responsibilty to make sure that they are there for my great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. It is up to me to make sure that my future family has my past family so my family can stay whole. I have had great fun and adventure doing my research and I want this for my family that comes after I am gone. And I can only do this by shareing all that I have with all of my family so I can make sure it stays through fire, flood, greed, and everything else, and I can do that best by shareing all that I have with all that ask. This makes it so there are enough copies out there for the next 100 years or so and this is one of the main treasures I wish to pass on with my research so not 1 person in my family ever gets lost. I found so many people in my family that didn't share and even though my family has lost because of it I know by doing the same makes the loss so much great! er and greed helps no one. I started share sites where people go on to share all there old family photos and there documents and have not yet taken the time to post all of mine. I am going to post all that I have as I know my grandmother and mother who the few pictures I have belonged to were giveing people and would want them shared. If you learn nothing else from this letter I hope you learn it is the responsibilty of all of us to share so all is there later or you are not the one who looses it is your family that lost.
