Jim, Here is my grandma's [Nora Bennett Dethrow] recipe for pumpkin pie. She was born and raised, and lived 99% of of her life in Oregon Co. Enjoy! Lanita NORA BENNETT DETHROW'S PUMPKIN PIE 1 cup of pumpkin 1 egg slightly beaten 1/3 to 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 teas salt 1/4 teas cinnamon 1/4 teas nutmeg 1/4 teas ginger 1 cup milk Mix together, and pour into unbaked crust. Bake 350 degrees until the middle is set. [about 45 min] You can also check with a knife. Top with whipped cream, cool whip or eat without the whipping.
