Family safety would be first and foremost, but as far material posessions or treasures it would be family pictures from many, many years back and a cookie jar handed down from my husbands grandmother, Grace Pratt Tucker. It is nothing expensive, but is truly a treasure and very valuable in our sight. I would want to protect it with all that is within me so as to hand it down to our son, someday.
