Thought I would mention that I have a couple of Rev. War books at my library that lists soldiers. Some are from the Pension files and have quite a few details for each soldier, including children, soldier's birth and death date, wives [some include maiden names], and residence when enlisted. If you need me to check any out for you, please let me know. I am finding myself going to the library once a week to explore this 'new' aspect of genealogy. Hope this helps, Lanita Sconce Miller ps: I am so proud of myself today.. I have all of my papers filed, and my work area is neat, tidy and organized... QUICK, I need to take a picture.. no telling WHEN the area will look this good again!! Any family tree produces some lemons, some nuts and a few bad apples.
