Lanita - That is a great question, not just to make us think of what we value most (outside of our family's safety) but it may cause someone to think of ways to protect or safeguard artifacts, pictures, etc that we treasure. I may look into a big fireproof safe. Another problem that I have, is that my "binders" with research, pictures and writings are too bulky to carry out in an emergency. It's time to consolidate them onto disks but that is a monumental and laborious job. One of those, "come early next spring" projects.
