Lanita, I wonder if there isn't a "typo" somewhere. 1. Maybe the dates are reversed--son born 1690, father died 1720. 2. It's so easy to type/write the wrong century or to transpose numbers. Sometimes it's a matter of a 4 or a 7 looking like a 9. Can you name the people and the source you are looking at? Maybe some of us can look and form an opinion.
