Putting what I have in the hope that someone out there has a connection to this family and will help or no of a way to get over this brick wall. James Nowlin he was born in 1819 in Bond, Fayette Co. IL. married Enamette Adaline Williams( she was born in 1825 in Tenn.) they married July 16 1840 in Fayette Co. IL. their children were: Mary A Nowlin b. 1843 in Fayette Co. IL. Nathaniel Nowlin b. Sept. 18, 1845 d. July 27, 1929 Jacob Nowlin b. 1846 He was still alive in 1900 census William Franklin Nowlin b. 1848 Samuel Nowlin b. 1852 Sarah J. b. 1854 John Librum Nowlin b. 1855 Malinda Nolwin b. 1859 All were born in IL. I beleive but I have not proof as to when Enamette Adaline came to Mo. only that she was there in 1860 Wayne CO. Mo. census. James died before 1860 because Enamette Adaline Nowlin was a widow in 1860 In the Pulaski co Mo. census living next to her brother Oliver Williams. On John Lilburn Nowlin death cer. it has him born in Pulaski Co. Missouri on March 22, 1850. I get there is no record of his birth and also the court house burnt down. If anyone can help on where James Nowlin is buried,or born or any of his children or where is wife is buried this would help. Jhons children are the same way I can't find there birth.
