Nancy, I believe that the census indexes provided by Ancestry.com are based on the AIS census indexes. I don't believe that the Ancestry census indexes for Randolph County in 1870 include any of the Randolph County townships other than the four identified by Betty Tucker. There are references in the Ancestry index for Randolph County for 1870 to census records in six townships other than the four Betty identified. However, none of those six were Randolph County townships. They appears to be Saline County townships (Beaver, Dyer, Hurricane, Jefferson, Marble, and Owen) which were apparently mis-coded at some point as Randolph County townships instead of Saline County townships.
