John S. MORRIS moved to Oregon County in the mid-1880's from Terre Haute, Vigo, IN. In the 1880 census he was living with wife Florence. In 1890 he was listed on the Oregon County, MO Personal Tax Assessment Records as living in Lynn. He was also listed in the Oregon Co. Special Veterans Enumeration that same year. In 1910 he was enumerated in Benton Twp(Salem), Fulton Co., AR with his second wife, Sallie. He died in 1925 in Salem. I am looking for a marriage record for he and Sallie. I didn't find it in Fulton Co. I am also wondering what happened to his first wife, Florence. He is not listed in the census for 1900 either in Oregon County or Fulton County. Would like to know where he was at that time. That is about the time he would have married Sallie since the 1910 census indicates they had been married for10 years. Also looking for Henry C. Morris after 1910. He first appeared in Fulton Co, AR in 1893. He homesteaded land there in 1895 and was in the 1900 census there with his wife, Eliza Sappington, and their children. In 1910 he was in Oregon Co., MO with his family. I lose him until his burial in Field Creek Cemetery in Fulton Co.,AR in 1939. Thanks for your help. Catherine Gillespie Marx
