I am still trying to connect my gr-grandfather, George W. McWilliams, b 1869, AR. My McWilliams family history: He and brothers James and John (b 1868) left AR in 1880, camped at Caddo Lake, TX/LA border. They were attacked by unknown individuals. James apparently was killed and George and John were rescued by my gg-grandfather, Hillen PUTMAN and taken to Cherokee/Smith Cos, TX, where George m Martha PUTMAN.
