Okay, gang.. I know that there is a war going on, and many have loved ones over there that they are worried about.. [I know I do!!] but, are you going to let the thugs that crashed into our world trade center buildings, and the bullies that supported them, take our way of life away from us?? If you are refraining from genealogy, for this reason, THAT is EXACTLY what you are allowing them to do. It's time that we pray for our soldiers and leaders of our country, and keep tabs on the war. YES.. ABSOLUTELY.. but, let's not refrain from our way of life, including genealogy.. if we do, they have won that part of the war! Let's not allow them to take away our way of life that our men and women are fighting for?????? If you do not support the war, then you don't have an excuse for not posting! We are not here to debate that issue, we are here to research and support each other. We have a proud heritage and we have a freedom that the Iraqi people do not have.. while we are praying, let's continue our genealogy research or the things we love to do....our way of life.. For us family researchers, that means, LET'S SEE SOME POSTINGS ON THE LISTS!! Trivial, I don't think so.. it's the principal of the thing!! So, it's ROLL CALL TIME!!! I know we have several on the list that just sits back and reads the emails.. and never post!! Are you really serious about your family roots? If so, then get to posting!!! Not sure what to say? Just mention a surname that you are researching, or what brick wall you have...AND FOR PETE'S SAKE, RESPOND ON THE LIST... Remember to click on REPLY TO ALL!!! so all will see. Let's go, guys!! All this quiet only depresses those who just might need this as an outlet!! For information on my families and some connecting families, check out my website: www.lanitasloft.com New things are added frequently... and don't forget to write your comments in the guestbook!! I would also welcome comments on what you would like to see. Lanita Sconce Miller Wichita, KS My ancestors must be in a witness protection program!!
