Hello List, Jasper Daniel Wheeler married America Isabelle Piercefield on 2-25-1894. I am searching for ANY information about America. On MO census records, I've seen her born in Missouri, Illinois and simply United States. Her date of birth has been given as 5-8-1873, 7-8-1873 and May 1872. According to the Oregon County cemetery book, she died on 11-3-1971 and is buried (as is her husband) in Garfield Cemetery. (1) I have no other information about America. Who were her parents? Were there other Piercefield families in Oregon County? Did she have any siblings? (2) Jasper and America had 9 children; they were: Dorothy, Mayme, Roy, Ruth, Edna Mae, James Oscar, Ernest, Bertha D. and Pauline. I have very little information about these children. I need help to learn to whom each married, when/where, and the children born to these unions. I will be grateful for any and all help with this family. Dana, I checked the Oregon Co. Census from 1850-1880, 1900, and there are no PIERCEFIELDs mentioned. I checked the rootsweb, and found that someone had posted that a Lottie PIERCEFIELD mar. Wilson C. FELKINS, and died in Jan. 1881 in Oregon Co.
