We lived just over the hill from the gas station. I thought the owner's name was Charlie but I could very well be wrong. We bought all our gas there. The building was still there a couple of years ago. Jack Capshaw owned it and sometime after the end of Korean war, guy by the name of Wayne Beatty came in and leased it from him. I and a lot of my buddies have spent a lot of time around the stove there drinking peanuts in whatever until I joined the AF and left in May 57.
