Carol, According to Pat Carmichael's cemetery books, this is southwest of Ava and northeast of Rome. Her directions are: >From Ava, go south to Highway A and turn right on it. Go to the first road that turns to the right past Walnut Grove Church and Cemetery. Stay on this county road (straight at the crossroads) until it dead ends at red gate. You will need permission to go through the gate (it possibly will be locked). Go through the double gate to the pond. Turn to right of pond and follow road to wire gate past bunch of big round hay bales. You will have to go through 1 other gate before this one. You will have to walk the rest of the way. The cemetery is located to the left and down the hill from the hay bales. Cemetery is located on the old Watterson homestead. The cemetery is all grown up and not used anymore.
