Some of the Ledgerwoods that I do have are William "Bill" Roy Ledgerwood b 1912, Shannon County died 2001 in Springfield, Greene County, MO. married 10 March 1937, Alton, Oregon County, MO, Lola Annette LEDBETTER b 11 Apr 1916 in Oregon County. Their three children were born in that county. William "Bill" Roy Ledgerwoods parents were Marcus Lee Ledgerwood and Nova Paralee Smotherman. This is the obit for Marcus Lee Ledgerwood. Mr. Ledgerwood, is survived by his wife, Nova; two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Pierce, 2520 North Franklin and Mrs. Edith Layman, Raymond, Wash., and seven sons, Clay, Kansas City, Lawrence, Sunnyside, Wash., Dow, Cle Elum, Wash., Millard, Warrenton, Ore., Henry, 2025 Manley Dr., Bill, 2452 N. Franklin, and John, 1522 West Bennett. Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Alice Ledbetter, Mountain View, four brothers , John, Winona and Sam, Ural and Leonard, all of Birch Tree; 28 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
