Okay gang.. help me out here... What was the 1st year that people had to register for SS? Would someone living in 1930 have to be listed on the SSDI if he had passed by now? I've got a guy b. 1862, still living in 1930.. wouldn't he be listed on the SSDI? Lanita

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the Social Security Act didn't pass until 1937 and from what I've read, most people listed on SSDI on internet died after 1951, can't remember why from 1937 to 1951 people aren't listed.
