Sorry for being so late ..... I've been in hospital the last 10 days with a pesky broken foot (now on the mend), and have got back to my PC at home to find nearly 800 messages to plough through! Sombody else has mentioned the Roush family in the area. The name Davis Roush rings all sorts of bells ..... I don't recall him being a teacher, but a county official or perhaps school board member?
