Hi Toni, Yes please? I have my G-Grandfather James A. Thompson b.1841 in TN. and d 1881 Oregon CO. MO. He inlisted in the Confederacy in 1862 in Howell CO. MO. There may be a possible connection here. I can't find him before 1862 marraige to Catherine Freeman Burnham. Maybe he had family in Howell CO.. I would like to know a little more about where he was born and raised and who his parents were.
