Hi, I'm needing assistance with one of my "brick walls". I'm trying to identify the Mr. Stubbs who was the second husband of Simpson Couch's daughter, Mary Jane Couch. Her first husband was Davis C. Brewer. Her second husband was a Stubbs. Mary Jane and her second husband had a daughter, Susie, who was raised by Rebecca (Roberts) Simpson. I have Susie Stubbs' obit and census records. I have seen her father's name listed by other researchers as John Stubbs and as David Stubbs, and have heard that it might have been Luke Stubbs, and am currently working on the theory that it might have been Lewis Stubbs. But I don't have anything solid to go on. Does anyone on the list have any information about the name of Mary Jane Couch's second husband, and the father of Susie Stubbs? Or any information about any Stubbs family with a connection to Oregon County? Thanks for any help, Mike Landwehr
