    3. We've had several new members join, so let's have a roll call. Please bear in mind that you may think that others know your surnames, but they may have forgotten. We all get busy with our own names, and its easy to forget. Roll Call will end on Sunday, 10pm, EST. Take the time to list your names and any info/dates so that others might be able to help you. A time frame is important, so list a date for a particular individual if you go that route. Happy hunting, Lanita

    3. Hi Ann, I went to your site and was looking at my Sarah Louisa Sammons, she was named after Jacob's first wife and second wife. She married James Thomas Brewer first, then Joseph Thomas Hall. I have a question for you. You mention on your site that her father was "James Jacob Sammons". I have him as Jacob Sammons b. 1805 Kentucky and the same on his marriage to Sarah Stubblefield, I know her Uncle was James Benjamin Sammons b. 1800 Franklin Co. TN. On all of the census work, I've done, he is listed as Jacob Sammons. Is there a Bible record out there or another piece to my Sammons puzzle I'm missin? Let me know. Thanks so much, Kara Sammons Spoon Kara- Enjoying the genealogy puzzle! The 20th Great Grandaughter of Hugh Rose 1 Laird of Kilravock - Scotland
