Still searching for the family of Isaac Smith. Isaac married Dealy Caldwell in 1901 at Oregon Co. MO. I would like to know who his parents were. Billie Smith

James Middleton SMITH, b abt 1809 in Walker County, GA, d 8 DEC 1877 in Randolph County, AR. His wife was Susan WALLEN, b abt 1809 in Lee County, VA, d 1860/1863 in Randolph Co, AR. They had children: William, Sally, Mary, Priscilla SMITH STOUT, Campbell (my ggrandfather), Nancy, Caroline, Martha, Tennessee SMITH SAMMONS STOUT, and Henry. From logistics from census records, I believe James M also had a brother Littleton SMITH m Bathsheba UNKNOWN. They lived in Hamilton Co, TN in 1830, Walker Co, GA in 1850 and in Randolph Co, AR in 1860 (Haven't been able to find them on the 1840) Can't get beyond this generation, and SMITH is such a HARD name to research! Any clues as to who James Middleton SMITH's parents were would be greatly appreciated! Peggy Cannady
