My most elusive ancestors are the parents of Dennis Darta CRAIN. DD md Elizabeth Angelina LASLEY, 1872, Ozark Co., MO, and both came from south Illinois. DD had three other wives before Elizabeth. DD's parents seem to have come from Georgia, and were among the numerous CRAINs in Williamson Co., IL, or environs. DD b ca 1838-9 (Williamson Co?, IL), d 1901 (Stoddard Co., MO, while preaching), homesteaded just west of Bakersfield, Ozark Co., MO. Resident of Ozark Co ca 1871-1901.
