I would also like to add, that had it not been for Betty's heads up on the surname that I was searching, I would not have had this puzzle completed. It is imperative that we try to think of others when we are interviewing our older generation... write down that familiar surname that the elder mentions... jot down some notes, and then report back to the list if you can't remember who is searching that family... you just never know what puzzle piece this might be for others. So, thanks Betty... without your heads up, I would have placed a stone at Yadkin with the "in memory of", and it would have been wrong. People wonder why we have so many roll calls??? This is why!
