I am still looking for William H. LEWIS, a physician, born in 1828, married to Sarah Eliza HUDDLESTON in 1856. His will was probated in Oregon County in March of 1861, but I am not sure where or when he died. They had a son, Pembroke or Penbroke Lewis. He was 3 years old in the Oregon County 1860 census, but then totally disappears. My questions are What did William H. LEWIS die from? Where did he die? Where is he buried? What happened to Pembroke Lewis? The story gets goofier; while I am on a roll, I will continue. Ten years after William H. Lewis' death, Sarah Eliza HUDDLESTON had a son, Hayden or Haden. She gave him the LEWIS surname; so, I imagine she did not ever re-marry. Of course, we would love to know the father of Hayden, who was my husband's grandfather.
