    1. [MO-OREGON-HISTORY] marriage bonds
    2. lanita miller
    3. Still searching for 2 marriage bonds in my JUSTICE family. I have checked NC archives via a Random Acts of Kindness volunteer, a county or 2 in KY, Spartanburg Co., SC [where Amos served in Rev. War], Madison Co., MO [guardianship papers were found] and Randolph Co., AR [where he died] If anyone has access to marriage bonds, would you please check for: Amos JUSTICE to Mrs. Margaret NETTLES.. betw. 1810-1824 John D. JUSTICE to Sarah NETTLES... betw. 1810-1824 JUSTICE could be spelled JUSTIS, JUSTUS, and NETTLES could be spelled without the "S", as well as NITTLES, NATTLES, or who knows how. Thanks for any help! Lanita I Should have asked them BEFORE they died!

    3. Just me with another off the wall idea regarding the spelling of Nettles and its variations. I know someone whose name is spelled Knittel (silent K), so in case you hadn't thought of it, don't forget that a number of "N" sounding names sometimes start with K. 1. [MO-OREGON-HISTORY] Looking for uncle Edwin Barnes
    2. Regena Lally
    3. Hi gang... I have a great uncle who was raised in Oregon Co and lived there for a number of years. He farmed in Oregon and Douglas Counties. I have him in the 1880, 1900 and 1910 census. After that nothing. His name was Edwin Barnes, he marriedAnnie Hilderbrand, they had 2 children and then Annie died. I think after that he left the area and went to SW MO. I find no trace of him or his children. I have a photo of his headstone, sent by a distant family member who does not even know where he is buried. So...I guess in order to find out where he lived and check the census, I first must order a death cert from the state of MO. Can you tell me if I can do that on-line, or do I need a special form to send where ever? Thanks Gena Gates Lally
