Dear Lister's, I have been trying for a couple of years to find out exactly where my GGrandfather and my Grandfather and their families lived besides MO and CO. Laura Evelyna (Williams) Beard, b. 4 April 1877, MO. d. 5 March 1928, Grants Pass, OR. Buried at Granit Hill Cemetery, Josephine, Co. Oregon. Marion Valentine Beard, b.18 April 1859, Terre Houte IN. d. 20 July 1945. m.Harriet ( Hattie) Knight Millard. one child, Cora, last known living in CO in 1979. Maleeta Candacy Beard, b.8 Aug.1860. d. ? m. Jess Tucker Harrison E. Beard Ernest C. Beard. m. Minte Ricketts Herman Harold Beard, Bachelor George Claudie Beard b. 1871 d. 1888 Admira Anna Beard, m. William Hileman Laura Etta Beard b. 10 June 1876 d. 19 June 1912, Buried, Pea Ridge. Arkansas. m. Melvin J. Ricketts Arthur Senate Beard, m.Clara Schmauser. My Grandfather, John W. Beard and wife Laura had six children, only four lived till adulthood as far as I know. Their children are as follows, the only family I knew. Merritt Everett Beard b. 28 Aug. 1898, d abt. 1950-1952 in CA (bachelor) Percy Jean Beard, my father, b.21 Sept. 1902 at Manitou, CO. d.19 May 1966 in Jackson Co. OR. Myrtle Clarissa Beard, b1904 at Castle Rock, CO. d. 1975 in Kent, WA. She was the only girl. Married three times. First, John Edwin Jones, had two boys. Second husband, Harry Peterson, had one daughter d. aprox. 1973 in WA. Third husband was Perry Leonard Hulse, my mother's brother. They had no children, Perry Leonard had three children by a previous marriage. Glen Vernon Beard, b. 11 Dec.1907 in CO. d.1 Nov.1948 in VA Hospital in Portland, OR. Two younger brother's Herman and Martin. I have no birthdates or death dates on them, but they are buried in a cemetery in Silt or Rifle, CO. My father, Percy Jean Beard was married to Ruby Myra Hulse, 5 Jan. 1934 in I believe, at the court house in Medford, Jackson Co. OR. I have heard recently that they may have been married in Mill City, OR in Marion Co. I, Christina Evelyn Woodworth, (third husband) was born 6 June 1936 at Stayton, OR, Marion Co. My only sister was born 11 June 1939 at Mill City, OR, Marion Co. d. 2 April 1999, b. Vancouver, WA. If anyone has any information about any of the Beard's, Mary Ann Elizabeth(Smith) Beard or Laura Evelyna (Williams) Beard it would be greatly appreciated.
