Okay, you guys.. It's been a while, so let's have a roll call... We will start on Wed at 8am CST., and go until Friday at 10pm CST. Please make your queries short and to the point. Too much info has a tendancy to lose me.. so let's try to keep it short, clear, and what exactly you are searching for or needing.. I have been focusing on James TAYLOR and wife, Nancy WHITE TAYLOR who moved from NC>Jackson Co., AL>Oregon Co., MO. I want to know this: 1. Where is he buried? 2. Who is listed in the 1830 Census Jackson Co., Alabama, p.97 and the 1840 Census Jackson Co., Alabama, p.53? Is it both of them, just their son, John D. and family. os is Nancy a widow and with John D or someone else.?.. I need documentation, so census or other proof would be great! [I've got all the speculation I can stand!!!] Thanks, Lanita
Ok, I have a new one. Edward J ROGERS (dates unknown) married 21 NOV 1902 to Jessie Lee Martha BOUNDS, d/o Jesse L BOUNDS and Sarah BISHOP. Edward and Lee lived in Ripley County. Their daughter, Lula Rogers ALLMANDINGER, b 2 AUG 1908, used to go to our family reunion in Ripley County, but I was just a kid then. Lula passed on before I had sense enough to want to know my family history. I know that Edward ties in to my ROGERS/RODGERS family, but I just can't find anything on him to figure out where! I haven't been able to find them in the 1910 or 1920 census. Would appreciate any information on who his parents were, when he was born, when and where he died, etc. Peggy Brooks Cannady
