However, in Gyn Trimble's book, he notes: Michael Looney m. #2, Artemicia (Artie) Jobe Bailey Sammons on 4 July 1849 in Oregon Co., MO. Artie, born 16 March 1833 in Washington Co., MO, was the daughter of Abner and Dorcas Jobe Bailey who was born in TN in 1803. Daughter Artie was previously married to James Sammons in Randolph Co., AR. Bill has a Jonathan Looney ancestor born in Randolph Co., AR, 4 Sep 1820, whose sibling Docus/Dorcas Looney, m. Wm.
