I know my great grandparents, Monroe Archy Gilbert (M.A. Gilbert) and Mahala (Presley)England were married but can't find a record. They would have been married between about 1890 - 1894 - possibly in one of the Southern MO counties, but more than likely in one of the North Central/East Arkansas counties. They lived in Newark, Ark. which is near Batesville, ARk. (Independence County) when my grandmother was born in Nov. 1894 or 95. Mahala had lived in Oregon and Howell Counties when she was married to her first husband, Joel W. England. Thanks. Sure hope I find this marriage record some day !! Janice (near St. Louis)
