    3. My oh My what a question!! After researching for only 3 years I cannot imagine giving up the chance to do the chase and hunt of researching. I have been given stuff, butlooked at it and stuck it on the bookcase. I love to research, it stimulates my mind in ways that most things don't. I want more than the dry dates, I want the nitty gritty. When I started out my mother had 3 cousins on her Thompson side of the family. And none of them close. If nothing else my research has strengthened the family ties. This family is talking again. I feel a tremendous blessing when one cousin says "cousin so and so called the other night and we talked a long time" , when before it had been 10 years since there was any contact. I love it. I don't get to get out as often as I would like. But hopefully once it gets warmer and all I will be able to.
