    1. [MO-OREGON-HISTORY] Help
    2. Can someone help me with a problem? I need the birth and death dates of Susan (Smith) Butts, wife of James H. Butts (1870-1949). I have been told she is buried at Freeman Cemetery near Fremont, Missouri. Is her husband buried in the same cemetery? She is the daughter of Reuben Smith (1840-1918)> I believe he is buried in Abram Cemetery, location unknown. I do appreciate any help I can get. Many years ago, in a little town named Brawley (at first) then changed to New Liberty, Oregon County, Missouri, my ancestors had a little general store. The school there was named the Butts School, later changed to New Liberty School and there was a Butts Spring. Their names were Eli Butts (1821-1894) and his wife, Martha (1819-1900). If any of this sounds familair to anyone I would be ever so happy to exchange information with you. Tess Kurtz Tall Timber talltmbr@positech.net
