Hi to all, My BAKER-BRAWLEY-connection is my brickwall--my grandmother, Aquilla Vesta BAKER,born ca 1869, was raised by Mr. and Mrs. James Moses BRAWLEY. Aquila had a brother and sister, also raised with the Brawley's I don't know for how many years. Aquila married Bill BUTTS in Alton Mo on 5 Sep 1886- She died Oct 1902 in Ripley Co. Pine area--when my mother was 2 years old. My mother never knew much about her mother. I have most of the Brawley genealogy, and I can't find any Baker listed with them. I live in CA but have been back there several times, but have not had any luck with my search.
