Todd, I will see if I can find the information about the Bearden that was in Oklahoma. But, they went back to Oregon Co. when they got sued by the rest of the family. Tried to keep insurance money that didn't belong to them. If that hadn't happened I would have never found out anything about my Dad, nor would I be able to prove that my Dad's brother was tied into the family. Yeah, for the Bearden family. I don't even remember right now what the name was, but he was my great grandmother Mary Jane Bearden Shurron's brother. He and Mary were both born in Illinois and their mother's maiden name was Roach. She (their mother) was widowed in Illinois and moved to Oregon county, MO where she married someone by the name of Kyle. I am telling this by memory, so I have more, but just don't remember it all right now.
