Marie, You need to get a copy of what's in Alexander ROBERTS probate packet.... Located at the Probate Office at the Alton Courthouse is the packet #1370. Listed is: Roberts, Alexander Admin: John Thomas Filed: 10 Jun 1848 1850 Oregon Co., MO Census THOMAS, John Sr., age 50, MO THOMAS, Matilda, age 30, MO THOMAS, Ephraim, age 17, MO THOMAS, John L., age 15, MO THOMAS, Emily, age 12, MO THOMAS, William, age 6, MO THOMAS, Alexander, age 4, MO THOMAS, Abosolum, age 2, MO ROBERTS, Simpson, age 10, MO ROBERTS, Susan, age 8, MO There are ROBERTS who would be the age of Susan's siblings in Oregon Co., as well as Ripley Co., MO in 1850 census. Alexander is listed in 1840 in Ripley Co. [Oregon Co. wasn't formed until 1845, before that it was Ripley]. There is a ton of stuff on the ROBERTS family in the county History Book. Marie....I sent you 2 emails direct on what I believe is your Estes Line...which Madison L.Estes is the son of John Wesley Estes and Susan Jane Couch......also....just out of the the blue heres a question...there is a child listed under other...Ivy Estes.....My gr grandfather John Arthur Wolf / Wolfe had a brother named James Edgar Wolf born 1879 Oregon County MO..he is listed as Living in the Davis household as a boarder ..should have been grandson...but his wife is listed as Iva or Ivy....do you know anythingt about this Ivy Estes?
