LANITA, II researched the Bolendar/Baker line from northern Mo. Bill got into the SAR with that research. His Bakers were in and around Scotland County, which is south of the Iowa border. Lanita , I have Bakers in Livingston Co ,Carroll Co,Grundy Co Some in this family even in Nebraska.My earliest is John William BAKER b Apr 1857 MO married Nov 27 1881 Livingston Co to Nancy Catherine ALLEN.. Carolyn and o thers, Our B AKERS came from Washington Co. PA>Sagamon Co., IL>Daviess Co., MO. William BAKER SR. mar. Margaret MORRIS in 1850 in Sangamon Co., IL. He was b. 1829 in IL. Migrated to Daviess Co., MO by 1869. He d. 1910 in Daviess Co. His ancestors came from London, England to Baltimore, MD where Nicholas [b. 1712-1774 in Harford Co., MD] mar. Martha WOOD in 1741.
