    3. Lanita, If and when you get any information, please post it for all of us. I just found out that my husband's family on three sides is Native American. I know that one is Cherokee and that they were offered land in Oklahoma. They have to be registered someplace. One of the names may have been Cruse or some spelling of that name. 1. [MO-OREGON-HISTORY] Native American/Indian Roll Call Numbers

    3. Hi Pat, I don't find the name CRUSE on the Dawes Roll. There are Guion Miller applications, made by Dora J. Cruse, who was living in Arkansas when she made application ca 1906-09, and by Elizabeth Cruse, who was living in Missouri when she made her application. Both Dora J and Elizabeth Cruse would have made their applications in an attempt to prove descendancy from the Eastern Cherokees. I don't know of any way to find out any more about these applications without ordering copies. 3. Hi, I would like to get in touch with Norma Davis Crawford, youngest daughter of John Thomas Edward Davis and Virtie May Webber. Norma has Oregon County roots. I would also be interested in contacting any descendant of William G. 'Will' Webber (1861-1927) and Susan Stubbs (1865-1917). Both are buried in the New Salem Cemetery. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mike Landwehr
