He did marry again after the death of that wife. I wondered if that was a possibility and yet another family member thinks it may be that he was not the father. I thought since she had been married before and her husband had also died before they married and had these two children it was or could have been because of their inheritance and he had to have guardianship to manage etc. I had just never heard of a man getting it and was surprised when I got the document.
