I need some kind-hearted family researcher, & aren't we all?, to check for a marriage license: William A. Thompson & Mary B. McClain/McLain....different variations on spelling. I have date as Jan. 2, 1836, Randolph Co., Ark., but place of marriage is incorrect. Mary was from Mo., so maybe Oregon or Ripley Co., Mo. ....maybe???? thanks, Carol Thompson

THOMPSONs listed: Thompson, William A. to George, Margaret..on 13 Dec 1883 [book 3 on page 92] a variation: Thomasson, William A. to Hyde, Sarah E... on 11 Dec 1885 [book 3 on page 189] If it's after 1890, I can't help you.
