ANCESTRY QUICK TIP =================================================================== In addition to Bobbi's tip (http://www.ancestry.com/rd/prodredir.asp?sourceid=831&key=A668002 ) regarding different markers and how they copy, photographers use filters to remove marks from photos and other material to be copied. Usually, they use a filter which is the same color as the marks. Thus, if there are brown stains on copy, they will be lessened by using a brown filter, and so on. A similar effect will be achieved by using colored acetate or even cellophane which is similar in color to the marks you do not want to reproduce. Experiments such as the one Bobbi lists with highlighters will show you how effective the use of transparent filters will be with your documents, and copier.
