Carol, I'm sure you already know this, but since the marriage was 1836, it would HAVE to be in Ripley Co... none of the other counties in the area in MO were formed at that time. No, I didn't know that. I knew Randolph Co., Ark. was formed in 1836 from Lawrence Co., Ark., but already checked those two counties.
