NO, I haven't seen The Mansker Chronicles... what's that? Lanita
I'm wondering the same thing because Ewell Mansker was my uncle. According to some notes from Tom Arnold, it is believed that "Albert Mansker" that robbed a train in Olyphant, Arkansas, was Mary Hill's son, John. There was a train robbery, and men were hung, but the following link does not lead us to believe that it was Mary's son, unless Mary was once a Mullins or the information in the link is incorrect? http://www.mansker.org/history/albert.htm I don't know where Tom Arnold gets the idea that it was Mary's son, John Hill. Do you know Tom Arnold? Was Mary Hill's son a school teacher? I have not seen proof of this information, but it is interesting that Tom Arnold thinks Albert Mansker was our Mary's son, John Hill. What is your opinion? -----Original Message----- From: mo-oregon-history-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:mo-oregon-history-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Lanita Sconce Smith Sent: Monday, February 05, 2007 5:28 PM To: mo-oregon-history@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [MO-OREGON-HISTORY] The Mansker Chronicles NO, I haven't seen The Mansker Chronicles... what's that?
