Hi Ginger, No, I don't live in Thayer; if I did, you would have the pictures of the headstones by now! I live in Milwaukee. I contacted my cousin, Larry Wyatt, who is on the list also. His sister, my cousin, married Stanley Fleming Lark and lived in St. Louis. She died a couple of years ago and Stanley moved out to the Pacific coast to live with his son. The C. in Fleming's name was Carlyle according to Larry. F.C. (as he was called) and Nellie attended Woodside Memorial Methodist Church in Thayer until their deaths. My deceased brother was best friends with Nellie and F.C.'s son, Walter, who died 11 April 1945 while on a bombing run over Germany. I also have a snapshot of Walter with my other brother who is still living, if you would like that also. My parents considered Walter a member of the family. Date of death was provided by Larry in addition to names of other family members: Eugene, Howard, Russell and Nancy. He thinks they are all alive and living in the St. Louis area. You may already have this information but I thought I would pass it on anyway. Now about the pictures. I have a new scanner which is just not working properly. I will gladly make copies of the two pictures if you want me to mail them to you. Just send along your address (privately). By the way, how are you connected with this family?
