    3. Do you have a William BRIGGS? A William and wife Mahala are in Shannon county in 1860, born NC and TN. Then only Mahala in 1870 and she lists born MO. Then in 1880 only the son George and his wife are still in the county. He is listed as born in AL. None of the children in 1860 seem to be yours, Martha, Nancy, Malinda, John George, William, all born AL. There is a THOMAS and DANIEL HANKINS in Shannon county in 1860.
