Beth, Stella Birdie DAVIS md. James "Jim" SHORT, brother of Amanda "Mandy" SHORT who married Jesse DODSON. I stand corrected there. Her name really was Stella but possibly the census taker wrote her down as Della, Carmen SHORT dau. of Stella and Jim SHORT married Verne EVANS and my mom said the last she heard of them, they moved to Kansas. I'm glad Lanita found the marriage record and also the year of Stella's birth. Vonda Belluso

Ok, I have a new one. Edward J ROGERS (dates unknown) married 21 NOV 1902 to Jessie Lee Martha BOUNDS, d/o Jesse L BOUNDS and Sarah BISHOP. Edward and Lee lived in Ripley County. Their daughter, Lula Rogers ALLMANDINGER, b 2 AUG 1908, used to go to our family reunion in Ripley County, but I was just a kid then. Lula passed on before I had sense enough to want to know my family history. I know that Edward ties in to my ROGERS/RODGERS family, but I just can't find anything on him to figure out where! I haven't been able to find them in the 1910 or 1920 census. Would appreciate any information on who his parents were, when he was born, when and where he died, etc. Peggy Brooks Cannady

Again, still searching despirately (notice I stuck the despirate part in now!) for any information on Lucy Ellen Robertson B: 12-26-1873 In Oregon Co. MO Married William Thomas Henson in Alton MO 1891 at the home of her father H.D. Robertson who also signed concent for her to marry. H.D. Was supposedly Native american. According to my great aunt's, he was said to have dressed in traditional dress, but the family would not talk of it. I've sent letters to vital records to try to get info on these two.... and to some funeral Homes in the Lebanon area (where they were belived to live when they died) trying to track anything down on where they were burried. Still waiting.... A very nice man from the funeral home called and said he had no luck with either. Found lost of Hensons, but not mine. Said he'd pass on the info to another funeral Home that is in charge of an older cemetery in the area.... it was nice to hear that "missouri" accent... made me remember my great grannie and grandpa :) Also looking for into on the following families, Bloodworth, Halfhill in Missouri. Rachell Whitecotton-Lindley

Okay, you guys.. It's been a while, so let's have a roll call... We will start on Wed at 8am CST., and go until Friday at 10pm CST. Please make your queries short and to the point. Too much info has a tendancy to lose me.. so let's try to keep it short, clear, and what exactly you are searching for or needing.. I have been focusing on James TAYLOR and wife, Nancy WHITE TAYLOR who moved from NC>Jackson Co., AL>Oregon Co., MO. I want to know this: 1. Where is he buried? 2. Who is listed in the 1830 Census Jackson Co., Alabama, p.97 and the 1840 Census Jackson Co., Alabama, p.53? Is it both of them, just their son, John D. and family. os is Nancy a widow and with John D or someone else.?.. I need documentation, so census or other proof would be great! [I've got all the speculation I can stand!!!] Thanks, Lanita
