I don't know who the children married except my ggrandmother Tryphenia she married John Benton. I would be willing to pay for all cost.Or if you wouldn't mind to scan and send. Barbara, I don't know if this will help but here is what I know about Roarks in this general area. In the 1870 Lawrence County, AR census, there is a Joanna Roark, age 16, born MO, living with Addison McMillon and family. The McMillons are one of my lines and the Roark name caught my eye because one of my McMillon line married a Roark and lived in Arkansas Co,AR. This Roark girl came from MO and, according to the family now, came either from Dade or Dallas county in MO. Catherine barbara smith wrote: > I would like to know where they came from? Would that be the d/o William Henry Campbell and Elizabeth Myrtle 'Betty' Smith? The 1930 census says she first married at age 17. Well I think I answered my own question, as just found this 1921 -PROBATE RECORDS, GUARDIANSHIPS & WILLS - Alphabetical Index -Oregon County, Missouri (found at Alton Courthouse) Jobe, George 782p Admin: Vina Jobe Filed: 15 Nov 1921 *Now I still don't know when this George and Vina married or where they are in 1920. Also, does anyone have them on a 1910 census or know the maiden name of Vina? *Know this George was the s/o Levie E Jobe and Ellender L. 'Ellen' Eaton and gs/o Jacob Jobe and Mary Jane Bailey. ----- Original Message ----- From: Ann (Jobe) Brown To: MO-OREGON-HISTORY-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Saturday, November 23, 2002 8:09 PM Subject: need marriage lookup - HELP! Hey there.. wonder if anyone can look up in their resources for Missouri a Harry H. Lindley He was in Oklahoma in 1893 when his daughter was born. I have info on those later Census' but can't locate any info on his parents yet. What I DO know is that he married Georgiana (Georgia) Pharris 5-11-1892 in Newton Co MO. >From Census info and family owned records, I have found that Harry (also seen as H.H. Lindley) was born 1858 in Missouri and died 1931 in Rogers Co, Chelsea OK. His father was born in New York and mother in Kentucky I have had no luck linking Harry with parents on a Missouri Census yet... so for sure the family was in Missouri between 1858-1893. Newton Co is where his wife Georgia's family was primarily... thanks in advance for any help. Rachell

Re: The Howell County Cemetery Book Hello: My name is Tom Bryan and I am interested in purchasing a copy of both The Howell County Cemetery Book and Willow Springs and Surrounding Communities 1869 - 1969 Centennial by Ella Horak. I am very interested in the Cemetery Book and a copy of the book by Ella Horak (don't care if it is a used copy or a photo copy ). If you can let me know where I can locate a copy for purchase I would be in your debt. I have many relatives living in or from Howell County. Some of my surnames that I am researching are Bryan, Webb, Acklin, Smith, Peer, Miller (Lockmiller), Brees and others (from Howell County). Email address: Tombryanjr@hotmail.com Thank you, Tom Bryan
