    1. Re: [MO-OREGON-HISTORY] Springs and Things
    2. I can't help you on the springs, but was able to find a few of your names in my DeLorme Missouri Atlas and Gazetteer. I recommend it to anyone doing family research in Missouri. Santa brought mine a few years ago. Bockman Spring is about five miles NW of Greer in Oregon County and about that far NE of Thomasville near Mc Cormack Lake Recreation area. Mc Cormack Trail is there, too. Clarence is in Shelby Co., about 10 miles SW of Shelbyville. Ther is a town called Everett, but not Everett Chaney in Cass County, about 5 miles NW of Archie. McDowell is in Berry Co. about 5 miles NW of Jenkins. Good luck on the other places.

I don't have any Bible records, and the kink is a daughter [Phebe ELLIOTT DETHROW] whose only link to her parents are in the census... will DAR accept census records, or must it be marriage, death and birth records? 3. I have the 'Ripley County Centennial' book, 1859 - 1959. I do not want to keep it. There is no one in the pictures, articles, etc. that pertain to any of my family or my husband's. If anyone would like to have it, all I'd ask is for them to pay the postage. I am not going to make copies of any of it, so first one who asks for it, with address, etc., will get the book.
