    2. Welcome Carolyn, Don't ever be afraid of doing something wrong with this List. These are some of the nicest people you will ever have the pleasure of dealing with. I'm curious about your White line. My g-grandmother was Mary Ann White (1872-1950), daughter of John Wesley White (1836-1914) & Nancy Belcher(1835-1925). Are you part of this White family? If so, I'd love to hear from you. Carlene Missouri Ozarks

    3. Hello Cathy, I believe my gg grandfather, John Arnold, b. abt. 1804, is buried in Fulton County. He was living there in the 1860 census with four sons. We have never been able to locate him after that time. He may have had a son, Augustus, who is also buried in Fulton County. I would really appreciate a look-up. Mary smbhart@ptsi.net

    3. Forgot to give you my "orphaned ancestor". Alexander BLACK, born 1795-ish in Alabama. Moved to Coles County, IL by 1840. His grandson, my great-grandpa John Riley Black, moved to Wayne County, MO around 1902 and died of smallpox three years later. Even more interesting to me would be the full name of Alexander's first wife who died somewhere along the way. John Riley Black had a son, Lawrence Black, who lived in the Oregon/Howell County area and still has a few descendants there. Would love to hear from any of you. Terry
