I don't think they publicized it very well, and with the deadline extended to right before the holidays, it was a bad time. We had illness issues at our house, so now that its all over, was hoping that they had extended.... oh well. Lanita

What's the latest on the new Randolph Co. History Book? Is there still time to get in some bios? Lanita
Can someone tell me if there are any plans to have a new Oregon County History Book put out? Since it is several years old, I sure would like to add several bios to an updated one. Anybody know? Lanita
Lanita, the last information on the Randolph Co book that I am aware of was per the Pocahontas Star Herald and it said the dead line was Nov 15. It was originally August 15 but the paper said it was extended until Nov 15. As far as I know it was not further extended. If so, I never heard or read anything about it. Hi Ladies, sorry to but in, but I'd like to know if this is the same Dorcus that was married to Abner Bailey? Thanks, Kara Kara- Enjoying the genealogy puzzle! The 20th Great Grandaughter of Hugh Rose 1 Laird of Kilravock - Scotland
Ann, I have reason to believe that this marriage found in Lawrence Co., AR is my Dorcas NETTLES: JOBE, Isaac to Dorcas JOBE, 13 October 1834 in Davidson Township, by William L, Rice, JP, A-43 1. Dorcas NETTLES is found in Davidson Township in 1830 Census in the home of her mother Margaret UNKNOWN NETTLES JUSTICE, widow of Amos JUSTICE, SR. 2. I find no other Dorcas in the area during this time period in Lawrence Co. who married. My Dorcas NETTLES was born abt 1810ish. Thoughts? Lanita
Judy, thanks... we have all the census already, including back to TN. Thanks for trying, I really appreciate it! Lanita

Lanita, Can you give me the link to the Randolph County, Arkansas cemetery lists. I now know that my Roach family went there and that Martha Burnett Roach died and is buried somewhere in that county.
