I don't understand what the big deal is about flying a confederate flag. After all it is a part of the american history. My husband had many ancestors and great-grandparents that fought in the CW and even though they were Union, we both think the flag should be flown. Taking down the flag does not deter from the fact that the CW never happened or what it happened for. Those were very very long ago days and people should stop worrying. It is history. Let if fly!!!
