St. Louis Stamp Expo will push the (Civil War) envelope 03/03/2003 12:00 AM Whether you're looking for Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, other presidents or virtually any collectible stamps, envelopes and postal history, you'll find them at St. Louis Stamp Expo 2003, Friday through Sunday at the Renaissance St. Louis Airport Hotel. More than 50 dealers from around the world will be here. More than 200 large frames of historic stamps will be on exhibit, and an auction of rare stamps will be Saturday and Sunday. The auction lots can be viewed at the Web site of Regency Stamp Co. at www.stlstampexpo.org. For viewing in person, visit Regency's store at 229 North Euclid Avenue in the Central West End. The Expo has a Civil War theme and will be offering specially designed and cacheted envelopes stamped and canceled each day of the show. The envelopes cost $3 each or $8 for the set of three.
